Review

In this manga, a teenager named Haru Glory must embark on a quest to collect all the fragments of a powerful artifact called Rave in order to defeat the evil organization Demon Card.

The story is corny and has many archetypal characters and themes. The main themes revolve around good versus evil and the importance of friendship. There are 35 total volumes and the first few feel like they’re targeted towards a younger audience both in its artstyle and the content. As the series evolved, so did the artstyle and the themes; the last few volumes feel much more mature and modern. Overall the series feels formulaic but heartfelt. I also like the various cute but weird creatures like Griff and Plue.

Conclusion

Decent manga that gets better as the series progresses.
