# Review

This is my third or fourth time watching this film. When I first watched it, I was still in middle school and everytime I rewatch it, I'm freshly amazed at how far an excellent script can carry a film. The story follows a 12 men jury in a seemingly open-and-shut case of a young man who is being accused of killing his father.

The film has no fancy locale nor any expensive CGI, but still delivers with excellent writing and performances that match the writing, such as Henry Fonda's meek Juror 8, Lee J. Cobb's explosive Juror 3, and Ed Begley's prejudiced Juror 10. While the messaging may be considered corny and tidy by today's standards, the film itself earns its place among the classics. I particularly enjoyed the details such as how the room (and the jurors) get increasingly more heated due to the broken fan and how the catharsis of the discussion coincides with a storm.

# Conclusion

A classic for a reason.
