Review

Now-disgraced police officer Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) is offered a deal to have his record cleaned if he participates in an operation to take down drug lord Carter Verone (Cole Hauser). O’Conner teams up with his ex-con childhood friend Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and undercover agent Monica (Eva Mendes) to take Verone down.

The plot is as corny as that of the first film, except this time CTE (Chief Testosterone Office) Vin Diesel is not included and the film definitely suffers. Despite this, Walker’s O’Conner and Gibson’s Roman have great chemistry and Walker’s iconic Nissan Skyline GTR R34 is shown for the first time in this film. The supporting cast also has some interesting characters such as Ludacris’ Tej and the various street racers.

The Turbo Charged Prelude for 2 Fast 2 Furious

There is actually a short film explaining what has happened since the end of the first film and 2 Fast 2 Furious. It’s worth a watch if you want to see more montages of cars racing then it’s worth a watch.

Conclusion

Another corny car action film.
