Review

Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are back and this time they’re tasked to act as undercover university students to uncover the dealer of a new synthetic drug which killed a student.

The same antics from the first film ensues. The humour is just as juvenile as that of the first film and Hill’s Schmidt and Tatum’s Jenko have great buddy cop chemistry and are great foils for one another. The supporting cast, which includes Ice Cube’s Captain Dickson, Wyatt Russell’s Zook, and Jillian Bell’s Mercedes, were fun to watch as well. Overall this film didn’t feel as original as the first film, but was still hilarious. If you enjoyed the first film, you'd enjoy this as well.

Conclusion

Hope they actually follow through with some of the sequels.
