Not very legendary.
Previous Dungeons & Dragons reviews:
The third installment of the live-action D&D franchise follows Grayson (Jack Derges), the latest member to join a group of righteous and religious warriors named the Knights of the New Sun. When Grayson’s father (Anthony Howell) is kidnapped by evil, Grayson must partner with villains such as the sorceress Akordia (Eleanor Gecks), the Vermin Lord Bezz (Barry Aird), and the assassin Seith (Lex Daniels), in order to rescue his father.
This film, along with its predecessor are both low budget productions so my expectations were not high. The film feels like a more modern version of the last film, filled with corny dialogue, bad CGI, and low budget costumes. Despite this, the film is still fun in a B movie type of way. Derges’ Grayson and Gecks’ Akordia are both conflicted characters which straddle the line between good and evil. The supporting cast are also interesting to watch. The film went with the more serious script again, which I feel is a mistake given the film's low budget.
Another low budget D&D film.
