Review

Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), a security expert, goes undercover in a top-secret prison and is tasked by the CIA to test the security by attempting to break out. The plan quickly goes awry as Breslin cannot escape but he befriends Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a fellow prisoner. The two plot to escape together.

The film’s plot is corny and inconsequential and the supporting cast, which includes Jim Caviezel and 50 Cent are all just OK. The main selling point is seeing the two action legends, Stallone and Schwarzenegger, team up on-screen. To that extent, the film delivers. The film is filled with suspense, fight scenes, and traditional action themes such as loyalty and grit. It’s not an incredibly deep movie, but it is a decent heist film.

Conclusion

A corny story featuring two action legends.
