Review

In this cult classic stoner comedy, investment banker Harold (John Cho) and his roommate and best friend, aspiring medical student Kumar (Kal Penn), decide to get White Castle burgers after smoking weed together. The two embark on a misadventure to find some burger sliders.

The film feels like a live-action Family Guy episode, with various offside gags that are reminiscent of the 2000s. The gags include encountering a racist cop (Sandy Jobin-Bevans), meeting Neil Patrick Harris, and attending an Asian party at a university with Kenneth (Bobby Lee). While the film doesn’t have any deep meaning and barely has a plot, it’s filled with immature fun and great chemistry between two friends.

Conclusion

A fun and lighthearted stoner comedy.
