Review

This movie follows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) as he tries to stop the sale of a deadly virus to nefarious parties.

This film aged like room-temperatured milk, complete with corny dialogue and slow-motion action sequences with abrupt cuts, all with edgy techno background tracks. The film was extremely bland and the plot is nowhere as interesting or complex as the first Mission Impossible movie. Everything felt very lazy and stereotypical; the only female character, who is supposed to be an international thief, solely exists as Hunt's love interest, has a one-dimensional personality, and is generally very cringey to watch.

I guess the upside is that because this movie was so boring to watch, I actually managed to get some work done while watching it.

Conclusion

Very bland and dry movie.
