Review

Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt and this time he must stop the international arms dealer Davian as his professional life as an international spy bleeds into his personal life.

The film was not nearly as bad as its predecessor and feels relatively modern; the pacing is much better and the action sequences much more exciting and creative. I especially liked Philip Seymour Hoffman as the villain.

Conclusion

While not particularly novel, it's a solid entry into the Mission Impossible franchise.
