Why waste those cute little tricks that the Army taught us just because it's sort of peaceful now.

Review

Based on the animated series of the same name, Charlize Theron plays the titular character Æon Flux who is a resident of a dystopian The movie features an ensemble cast which includes the entire Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford). Sinatra plays Danny Ocean, a WWII veteran who recruits his former comrades in arms for an elaborate and daring heist: to rob five Las Vegas casinos at the same time.

The story is lackluster with no central theme or message. I especially found the ending to be very mediocre. The characters themselves are entertaining, though. There is plenty of banter between the characters and the chemistry of the Rat Pack members is especially good. My biggest gripe with this film is its pacing, which is dreadfully slow. Even the exciting scenes feel like watching a scene out of a soap opera.

Conclusion

A very slow film with some charismatic characters.
