Review

In this incredibly chill game about hiking and enjoying nature, the player assumes the role of Claire, a young bird who is staying with her aunt, a ranger at Hawk Peak Provincial Park. Claire wants to explore the park and climb to the peak of Hawk Peak.

The game is charming and very chill. The gameplay elements involve flying and climbing around the open-world park while interacting with different characters. The main quest is to climb Hawk Peak but I found myself exploring the park and trying out the different minigames. The writing is quirky and I really enjoyed the lighthearted background track. There are definitely some things which aren’t ideal, such as the lack of an in-game map and the weird fixed camera angles. Despite this, there’s something about gliding across the screen that’s quite relaxing.

Conclusion

A relaxing indie game.
