# Review

Aery is a short game where the player controls a bird flying through different dreamscapes with catchy music in the background. There really is no story and almost no gameplay. The player controls a bird and has to collect feathers around the level.

Collecting feathers

Some levels are very straightforward while others are a bit tougher, both due to the bright landscape with low contrast, as well as the unintuitive location of the hidden feathers. Overall, the game is more of an experience. It also feels as if the dev team is just dipping their toes in the water with this game. Much of the mechanics, such as the flying, are pretty bare bones.
