Review

In the game you play as a detective who is in charge of investigating a fatal boating accident. You quickly get embroiled in a complex conspiracy.

Detective Complex conspiracy

The story sucks but it's not the main focus of the game. Being an Artifex Mundi game, the core gameplay consists of a point and click with certain puzzle elements. Personally I bought the game during a sale and I’ve never touched it until my girlfriend downloaded the game. The beauty of Artifex Mundi games is its broad appeal; one doesn’t have to be a hardcore gamer to enjoy it.

Puzzle Puzzle

The puzzles are generally pretty easy but there are some clever ones. I found the fighting puzzles to be very repetitive and tiring, but I did enjoy the signature Artifex Mundi puzzle: the hidden objects. Other than the art assets, the production value is on the lower end and feels like a generic mobile game. That's not to say that the game isn't engaging or fun, though.

Conclusion

A fun hidden objects game.
