Review

This is a fun casual deck building casual game with mechanics similar to Dungeons & Dragons. Each player tries to build up a team of heroes to tackle different bosses by rolling dice. There are various modifier cards, such as items which can be equipped on heroes and modifier cards to affect dice rolls.

The gameplay is decent and relies greatly on luck. It’s relatively easy to pick up and each game goes by very quickly. There is a strategic element but it isn’t particularly deep. Perhaps my favourite aspect of the game is the cartoonish art style which is very well executed.

Conclusion

A casual deck builder with high quality art.

DLC Reviews

There are two add-on packs for the game, which add new party leaders, heroes, and monsters.

Warriors & Druids Expansion Pack

The expansion blends well into the main game and allows better intergration for more players. The pack modifies the game meta, but only a little.

Overall rating: 7.0

Berserkers & Necromancers Expansion Pack

Another more of the same. It blends well into the main game. I personally like the necromancer class more than the berserker.
