The legend of the Dragon Warrior is ancient and epic. It is shrouded in mind-bending eternal mysteries and legendary Kung Fu teachings from the awesome masters of the ages. Er - It's also the only one where really good noodle soup plays a critical role.

Review

This was one of the games that came bundled with my Xbox 360 back in the day. It’s a movie tie-in film for Kung Fu Panda. The game follows the story of the giant panda Po on his quest to become the Dragon Warrior.

The core gameplay is a beat ‘em up which involves Po fighting his way through hordes of enemies. Po navigates both the scenarios in the film, as well as new scenes exclusive to the video game such as new villains and new locations. The voice actors aren’t the original ones from the film, but the acting is still solid. The game also features platforming elements as well as a progression system where Po learns new moves and combos as he levels up.

Conclusion

Surprisingly decent for a movie tie-in and has some depth in the gameplay.
