# Review

We picked up this advent calendar at Costco and was pleasantly surprised that it includes a board game component where one can use the pieces one has built from the calendar to play. The core gameplay involves two players spinning the dreidel and taking turns performing the action on the dreidel, such as taking a figure from the shared pile or stealing a figure from your opponent. The goal is to collect a figure from each of the eight movies.

It's clear that the game is designed for very young children and it's heavily luck-based and isn't really engaging. Lego has also put very little thought into it, as there is actually an unreachable second victory condition, which is to collect 8 figures from the same movie (this is impossible as there are only 3 figures from each movie).

# Conclusion

A very simple game that's a nice add-on to the advent calendar.
