This is one of the first video games I've ever played; back then, I didn't know how to save or continue, so I never got past the first three levels. I stumbled across this game recently and finally finished it.

The story follows Marco Rossi, a soldier in the Peregrine Falcon Strike Force in the year 2028, whose mission is to stop the Rebel Army led by Donald Morden and prevent a New World Order. The story is basically non-existant, the main feature of the game is just the gameplay itself.

The game has aged very well due to the arcade artstyle and the simple mechanics of the game.

The game plays like a 2D platformer mixed with a shooter. The controls are simple; the player can move around the screen and shoot in four directions. There are also some other simple mechanics, such as driving a tank and rescuing POWs. Some mechanics did not age well though, such as only having 4-directional shooting.

The game has also The game is very short (only 6 levels) but has high replayability since it's skill-based and one of the goals of the game is to get the best high score possible. There are also mini-boss and boss battles throughout the missions, adding an extra layer of complexity to the gameplay.

Conclusion

A short and fun game that aged pretty well.
