The latest free-to-play game going offline is a platform fighter with characters from Warner Bros. franchises. The game modes are either 1v1 or 2v2 and the featured characters are from many iconic franchises such as Scooby-Doo, DC Comics, and Looney Tunes.

Gameplay 2v2 platform brawler

If you’re a big fan of the many Warner Bros. franchises, this game will be a treat. I was surprised that so many franchises were under the WB umbrella, such as Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty, and Adventure Time. It was cool to play so many characters from different franchises, each with their own movesets and quirks. The obvious comparison is with Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros.; I personally found MultiVersus to be more forgiving and more beginner-friendly than Super Smash Bros. due to MultiVersus's floatier controls and simpler mechanics. I also found MultiVersus to focus more on teamwork than solo mechanics. While the 2v2 mode is fun, my favourite game mode is probably the Wacky Weekends playlist with the randomized and chaotic twists like altered physics and special twists.

Conclusion

Not a terrible brawler, but I guess they couldn't make it work even with the relaunch.
