Review

I won’t lie, I’m a sucker for shmups (Shoot ‘Em Up) and I’m always happy to support indie developers. The artwork for this shmup looks interesting so I decided to give it a shot.

What immediately struck me is the old-school arcade graphics of the game. Personally, I wasn’t alive when these types of graphics were in vogue but I can appreciate how someone who was would find it nostalgic. The game play is very simple: one stick for moving the spaceship and a button for firing. The levels are randomly generated, as are the power-ups, so each run relies heavily on RNG. The bullet hell aspect is ok but not amazing.

Conclusion

An OK bullet hell that tries to invoke nostalgia of vintage arcades.
