Review

Swim Out is a turn-based puzzle game where the player assumes the role of a swimmer trying to avoid obstacles and traverse the pool. The player has to time the movements of the obstacles and also make use of power ups such as items which freeze other swimmers.

Gameplay Gameplay

There are 100 levels in total but many of the levels include multiple pools. The levels start fairly simple and can be progressed with basic trial and error, but the later levels require quite a bit of planning and foresight. The aesthetics of the game is very clean and has a refreshing summer feel. The movements are a tad clunky but, being a turn-based game, isn’t a big dealbreaker.

Conclusion

A basic puzzle game with a good artstyle.
