# Review

I totally missed the original Physical: 100 but after seeing Manny Pacquiao being one of the faces of Physical: Asia, I decided to watch this spin-off with my partner. The format of the show features a diverse cast of Asian athletes all competing for their country in various competitive games. There are some famous athletes such as UFC fighters Robert Whittaker and Yushin Okami, and Olympic gold medalist Yun Sung-bin.

The biggest miss of this show is not having more countries in the competition; some sporting giants, such as China, are excluded. Despite this, the athletes selected have a great variety of backgrounds, including some interesting sports such as Bökh and Turkish oil wrestling. For someone who hasn't watched Physical 100, the competition games are novel and I like how many games require both strategy and physical prowess. Personally, while I like Pacquiao, I was cheering for team Australia due to their pure physical dominance (and Whittaker's leadership). I'd love to see a version of this show for other regions as well.
