Review

This short story collection is where Doyle really hits his stride with Sherlock Holmes. There are twelve short stories in this collection with some of Holmes' most iconic cases, such as A Scandal in Bohemia, where the iconic Irene Adler is introduced.

The stories are interesting and unique, and are filled with exciting twists and turns. The mystery portions of the story are excellent, as the clues sprinkled throughout the story are actually used in resolving the mystery. The reader can attempt to solve the stories like puzzles and read Holmeā€™s deductions as solutions.

Conclusion

A great collection of short mysteries.
