# Review

Ron Perelman returns as the antihero Hellboy; this time, the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense must prevent a rogue elven prince (Luke Goss) from reviving an immortal army.

I really like del Toro and Mike Mignola's rich and dark world-building, such as an interesting take on the occult and the vibrant Troll Market. Perelman's sardonic Hellboy is fun to watch, and I like his chemistry with Liz (Selma Blair) and Abe (Doug Jones), as well as the new character Krauss (who is a controlled by two puppeteers, John Alexander and James Dodd, and voiced by Seth MacFarlane). The story, much like the comic books, is relatively straightforward and clichéd, making it pretty predictable.

# Conclusion

Another stylish and fun adventure in a dark fantasy world.
