Review

The first three Mission Impossible films are known for serious and dramatic plots with action sequences built around them, Ghost Protocol is turning that on its head by recognizing the most people watch the Mission Impossible films for the action. The action sequences are now the main focus of the film, and the plot is centered around said sequences.

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is back, this time joined by William Brandt (Jeremy Renner); this time the IMF is implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin and the team led by Hunt must uncover the truth and clear the organization's name.

This film had some of the most memorable action sequences from the entire franchise; while the story isn't as orginal as some of the earlier films, the action sequences more than make up for it.

Conclusion

An action film that focuses on the action sequences.
