Review

Following the success of the previous Mission Impossible movie, the same formula of focusing on the action is used in Rogue Nation.

In this movie, a rogue organization of highly skilled spies attempt to take down the IMF and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team must stop said organization.

The story is nothing new but there were many novel action sequences; I also liked the addition of Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust and while the new villain Lane (Sean Harris) is no Philip Seymour Hoffman, he still makes a compelling antagonist.

Conclusion

The same old, but in a good way.
