You want me?
Dead or alive.
One of us must die.
Dead, then.
Previous RoboCop film review:
In the sequel of the cult classic hit, a new drug called "Nuke" is taking over Detroit while the mega-corporation OCP is trying to bankrupt Detroit's government to advance Delta City, OCP's ambitious urban development project.
While the second film tries to follow the example of the first with its violence and dark humour, the sequel feels mechanical and uneven. The characters are archetypal and are paper-thin. I did like the humour, which showcases the cynicism of corporate politics but found the rest of the film to be lacking compared to the first.
An uneven sequel.
