Review

This film takes place 3 years into the Clone Wars; Anakin and Obi-Wan are in the midst of the conflict. This film shows the downfall of both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order.

Episode III is by far my favourite film from the prequel trilogy. The story is incredible, with plots of intrigue and betrayal building up to a shocking conclusion; it felt as if the previous two movies only existed to build up to the third film. The CGI looks much more polished and the action sequences are amazing; this film has one of my favourite lightsaber duels. The character development is also much richer and less superficial than the previous two films. There is actual nuance in the characters and Hayden Christensen does such an amazing job portraying Anakin Skywalker's inner turmoils and eventual turn to the dark side.

Conclusion

Best movie out of the prequel trilogy by far.
