# Review

In this cozy whodunnit, four residents of a retirement home, Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), Ron (Pierce Brosnan), Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley), and Joyce (Celia Imrie), are true crime fans who enjoy revisiting unsolved mysteries. When a murder happens on their doorstep, the four spring into action.

If one is a fan of cozy mysteries such as Only Murders in the Building, one will quite enjoy this film. While the backdrop is a murder investigation, the focus is much more on the four's friendship and their backstories. The core cast is incredible and composed of legendary actors and actresses; my favourite is probably Mirren's headstrong Elizabeth. The supporting cast also includes some notable names such as Jonathan Pryce, Tom Ellis, and David Tennant.

# Conclusion

Incredibly strong cast but a weak mystery.
