Review

In this cozy slice of life game, you assume the role of Sushi Bot, an automaton that arrives in the sleepy town of Rolling Hills to start a sushi restaurant. Sushi Bot befriends the locals and slowly develops Rolling Hills into a bustling community.

The title is a tad of a misnomer; unlike games like Overcooked! where the gameplay revolves around cooking, the core gameplay of Rolling Hills actually revolves around serving pre-made dishes. The core gameplay isn't very engaging and is on the easier side. The gameplay does get boosted by all of the activities the player can do outside of the restaurant, such as pursuing character quests, collecting outfits and furnitures, and miscellaneous daily tasks like buying ingredients to upgrade dishes. Even those activities quickly get boring, though.

Conclusion

A cozy but repetitive game.
