# Review

Inspector Fowler (Rowan Atkinson) and his motley crew of constables return in the second series. The misadventures continue.

Series 2 continues the humour and comedy of the last series. There's a balance of satire and slapstick, although this series feels a tad more inconsistent, with some plot lines that are a bit dry and unfunny. There were still some great plot premises though, such as filmmakers coming to record the station and Gasforth's football team drawing Chelsea in the FA Cup. Atkinson's wry Fowler is amusing as always and David Haig's brash Grim is consistently hilarious. I also found Lucy Robinson's ridiculous Mayoress funny as well.

# Conclusion

A bit less consistent than the first series, but still a fun watch.
