A person who doesn't learn from the past is an idiot, in my estimation.

Past Stephen King reviews:

Review

This story is out there; it follows Jake Eppings, an English teacher who discovers a time slip to travel back to a specific point in time. He enters the time slip in order to prevent the JFK assassination.

Like many King novels, the story is very unique and features many relatable and human characters. The story is very simple but King spins it into an 800+ page epic which involves interesting sci-fi elements as well as copious details on what life was like in the mid-20th century. The novel features extensive research on American life in the late 1950s and early 1960s, as well as the circumstances surrounding the JFK assassination. I especially enjoyed reading about the descriptions of food.

Conclusion

An incredibly well-researched historical fiction with sci-fi elements.
