# Review

I have started thinking of the Fast & Furious film franchise as entertaining slop and this film is the latest iteration. Dante (Jason Momoa), the son of the main antagonist from the fourth movie, returns and is seeking revenge for what Dom (Vin Diesel) and Dom's crew did. A bunch of new characters are introduced, such as Aime (Alan Ritchson), the replacement of Mr. Nobody, Tess (Brie Larson), Mr. Nobody's daughter, and Isabel (Daniela Melchior), the sister of Dom's former girlfriend.

There barely is a plot and the plot points are very corny. The entire film is a series of action sequences stringed together, and to that extent, many of the stunts are very impressive. Momoa's Dante is clichéd but fun to watch and I surprisingly liked the chemistry between John Cena's Jakob and Leo Abelo Perry's Little B. The film ends on a cliffhanger so I'm expecting at least one more film left in the franchise.
