Review

The ensemble cast of action stars are back and this time Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) hunts down Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), a former teammate who now is an arms dealer for despots. New allies are introduced, including Wesley Snipes’ Doc and Kelsey Grammer’s Bonaparte. After an incident, Barney decides to let his old team go and start a new team.

This is my favourite film from the trilogy. The film did not take itself too seriously and there are many puns and over-the-top action sequences. The new ensemble cast, which includes Glen Powell’s Thorn, Kellan Lutz’s Smilee, and Ronda Rousey’s Luna were decent. My favourite new characters, however, have got to be Harrison Ford’s badass Drummer and Antonio Banderas’ charismatic Galgo.

Conclusion

My favourite film of the franchise so far.
