Power hates a vacuum.
Past Star Wars show reviews:
The story follows bounty hunter Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) as he returns to Tatooine to take over Jabba the Hutt's criminal empire. The plot involves Fett slowly building up his empire with his right hand woman Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and fending off rival factions such as the Jabba's cousins and the Pyke Syndicate.
The plot is a tad uneven with pacing such as with slow flashbacks and shallow side plots (like with the Mods gang) but it's still interesting to learn more about Fett's backstory as well as about the Tusken Raiders. I also like how the story features characters from other Star Wars IP, such as the badass Krrsantan (Carey Jones) from the comics and the very badass Cad Bane (Corey Burton) from The Clone Wars. Of course, the best episodes are still those featuring characters from The Mandalorian, such as Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant). As with the latest live-action Star Wars shows, no budget was spared for the action sequences and they look amazing.
While not as good as the main The Mandalorian seasons, it's still a fun show steeped in Star Wars lore.
