# Review

Sherlock Holmes is back and with him are thirteen new cases. Doyle was pressured to bring Holmes back and this collection is the result of the fans’ petitions.

While there were several interesting cases with notable characters, such as the villainous Charles Augustus Milverton, this collection felt lacking in characters compared to the first two collections. Furthermore, the stories felt more sensationalist than those of the first two collections, which is more entertaining but felt lacking in charm compared to the first two short story collections.
