Review
Season 7 is the latest season where Steve Carrell’s iconic Michael Scott appears frequently. The plotlines follow Michael’s continued relationship with Holly (Amy Ryan), the relationship between Angela (Angela Kinsey) and a state senator (Jack Coleman), and the introduction of new characters such as Danny (Timothy Olyphant) and Deangelo (Will Ferrell).
While this season has some funny plotlines such as the launch of Michael’s movie Threat Level Midnight (which you can actually watch on YouTube) and WUPHF, the new tech startup founded by Ryan (B. J. Novak), overall the season did feel weaker than its predecessors. Despite this, there were some stellar episodes, mainly surrounding the Michael Scott character. Season 7 is probably the last season that feels special.
